Hello there! We are Mark and Holly, and we began our LittleFoot Shoe Co. journey in early Fall 2025.

It started with a simple realization: healthy movement begins at the ground level. What began as a personal mission to find better footwear for our own family has grown into a commitment to providing foot-healthy options and professional fitting services for the entire Shuswap community.

Like many adults, we spent years navigating the physical issues caused by traditional footwear—challenges we now know might have been prevented with a more natural approach earlier in life. Having seen firsthand how restoring foot health changes how the entire body moves and feels, we wanted to ensure our family—and yours—has a better foundation at every stage of life.

When we became parents to two young children, we made a choice: we wanted their story to be different. From their very first steps, we’ve prioritized foot-healthy footwear to give their feet the room they need to grow, flex, and develop as nature intended. But as we restored our own foot health alongside theirs, we knew these benefits shouldn't stop at childhood.

A Dedicated Space for Healthy Feet in the Shuswap

When we moved to Salmon Arm in July 2025, we noticed a missing piece in our community: a dedicated local destination for natural foot health and proper shoe fitting.

LittleFoot Shoe Co. was founded to fill that gap—offering barefoot and foot-healthy footwear for all ages, from first walkers to adults, paired with professional hands-on fitting services designed to support healthy movement through every stage of life.

• Flexible & Lightweight Construction: Allows the foot muscles and tendons to flex, bend, and strengthen naturally without rigid arch supports or motion-restricting stiff soles.
