A Better Foundation for Growing Feet

Hello there! We are Mark and Holly, and we began our LittleFoot Shoe Co. journey in early Fall 2025.

It started with a simple realisation: healthy movement begins at the ground level. What began as a personal mission to find better footwear for our own family has grown into a commitment to providing foot-healthy options and professional fitting services for local families.

Like many adults, we spent years navigating the physical issues caused by traditional shoes—challenges we now know might have been prevented with a more natural approach earlier in life. Having seen firsthand how restoring foot health changes how the entire body moves and feels, we wanted to ensure the next generation has a better foundation from the very first step.

When we became parents to two young children, we made a choice: we wanted their story to be different. From their very first steps, we’ve prioritised barefoot and foot-healthy shoes to give their feet the room they need to grow, flex, and develop exactly as nature intended.

A Dedicated Space for Little Feet

When we moved to Salmon Arm in July 2025, we noticed a missing piece for local families: a dedicated children’s shoe store. We realised that while there are great places to shop, our community lacked a specialised space focused entirely on the unique, rapid development of little feet.

LittleFoot Shoe Co. was founded to fill that gap—offering a local destination for barefoot and foot-healthy footwear, paired with professional fitting services designed specifically for the way children grow and play every day.
